Air Travel
When it comes to getting around the city, Washington, DC, is very walkable and has great public transportation options. The Metro (Washington, DC’s, subway system) stops within walking distance of most hotels and attractions and is connected by the Green Line (Mount Vernon Square stop) to the Washington Convention Center. The DC Circulator offers quick connections within the downtown DC area. Union Station is home to Amtrak and multiple commuter rail services, and connects to the Red Line on the Metro at Union Station.

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA),
DCA is the closest airport to downtown hotels. A cab fare from DCA to downtown will cost approximately $15.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD- Dulles)
IAD is the largest of the three airports serving the area and boosts several premier carriers. A cab fare from Dulles will cost approximately $50.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
BWI is the furthest of the three airports – however, offers very competitive airfares. A cab fare from BWI will cost approximately $75.
