hotels with the closest trolley stops. Child Care:We encourage families to travel to San Diego and enjoy the many family oriented activities in the area. New this year - the sponsoring societies of the Experimental Biology will provide formal childcare at the meeting. We will provide more information shortly. It is strongly discouraged to bring your children to the session rooms. We urge you to make reservations in advance of the meeting. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the exhibit hall during set-up. Children can be in the exhibit hall during show hours and should be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please keep in mind that this is a professional event. Attendees and exhibitors are conducting business in the exhibit hall so as a courtesy, please keep your children from disruptive behaviors. CAMP EB – Welcomes children ages 6 month –17 years. Children participate in age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts projects, active games and much more in a safe, nurturing environment. Meals are not included in the camp fees. Parents can send or bring lunch to the center. REGISTRATION: To assure that your child has a place, please pre-register by April 6, 2012. Your child(ren) is not registered until payment is received. We will assume your child will attend during the hours registered. If your schedule changes, we need as much notice as possible. We will accommodate you as best we can, based on availability. You will receive a refund for a cancellation received in writing at ACCENT offices no later than April 6, 2012. After that date, no refunds will be issued. “No shows” receive no refund. There is a $10 non-refundable registration fee. NOTE: For the safety and security of your child(ren), EB/ACCENT has the right to refuse care to any child based on space availability and appropriateness. EB/ACCENT also has the right to refuse care to any child unable to adapt to group situations as well as any child whose presence or behavior may disrupt the program or endanger the health or safety of other children. ACCENT staff do not administer medication and any child who is ill will not be admitted to the center. Register today by completing on-line reservation form. The purpose of the room is to give parents and children a place to relax during the meeting. The room will be equipped with tables and chairs and private areas for nursing. Attendees are not permitted to utilize this room for babysitting services.
